The CDx Quality Assurance team has been undertaking collaborative initiatives to streamline quality system processes across the business unit.
The CDx Quality Assurance team had an in-person workshop at our facility at Milford, Massachusetts in June. This was the first of many meetings to start the QMS integration process, which will start with a harmonized Document Control Process utilizing EtQ across all sites (US & Ireland).
The workshop was a great opportunity to meet colleagues from different manufacturing locations and to begin building invaluable relationships to overcome quality system complexities across the different sites. The team agreed on a new Quality Policy for LGC CDx, which will be published very shortly.
Because quality compliance is critical to daily operations, a cross-site initiative to drive a Culture of Quality is in the works.
Finally, the CDx Global Quality Assurance team extends a warm welcome to Amy Stewart, our new Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance, based in Gaithersburg. Welcome back!
