The Commercial team has spent the past few months pushing new products and new content to customers while capitalizing on tradeshow leads in pursuit of a unified Clinical Diagnostics entity.
Branding
The website and LinkedIn page for LGC Clinical Diagnostics went live on June 20th, bringing all CDx brands together under one LGC Clinical Diagnostics umbrella. Each brand retains its own website with a banner at the top, informing visitors that the brand is part of the LGC Clinical Diagnostics umbrella.
The process of defining the LGC Clinical Diagnostics identity while preserving recognition for sub-brands has been a long, but worthwhile project, and the launch of a unified web presence will support future cross-selling and cross-branding efforts. Commercial Team Meeting
In June, the Commercial team gathered for an offsite event to celebrate "One CDx." The team met to discuss the ongoing integration of commercial resources and to review commercial strategies. They also took some recreational time to go bowling and throw axes. See photos below.
Content Marketing
Content marketing continues to produce valuable leads and reinforce LGC CDx’s position as an industry leader. The team published two white papers last quarter, generating several downloads and resulting in a number of new leads for CDx. A total of 153 social posts were published from various Clinical Diagnostics social accounts, up 34% from the previous quarter, with a 13.78% growth in audience size overall.
2022 AACC Conference
During the week of July 24-28, the LGC Clinical Diagnostics team, with a strong representation of 28 employees representing all four legacy businesses, went to Chicago, IL to exhibit at the 2022 AACC Scientific Meeting & Clinical Chemistry Conference.
Attendance was strong, feeling much more like pre-COVID times. A total of 272 attendees stopped by the LGC CDx booth to have conversations with our representatives, often inquiring about our entire product portfolio, which was well represented on the graphics of the booth. Of the 272, 52 contacts were existing customers leaving 219 brand new leads that the Sales team is now working through.
