Getting Up to Speed

With upgrades and integrations in progress, the Business Applications and IT teams have been busy ensuring CDx systems work seamlessly to support business operations.

The Business Applications team is excited to welcome a new Salesforce specialist and a new SAP Finance specialist who started at the beginning of August. These additions to the team add much needed capacity and contribute significantly to BA operations.

In technical updates, Clinical Diagnostics is migrating from Sisense to Tableau with Sisense targeted to go away in November. Tableau users have been set up and are reminded to take refresher training to run, modify or create Tableau reports for self-service going forward.

The CDx Salesforce system will be upgraded from the Classic interface to the Lightning interface, as the Classic interface is being phased out. We expect this project to be complete in September.

The BA team is evaluating a solution to reserve quantities of a product\batch for select customers (product sequestering). If the solution meets requirements, it will become a project to implement in FY23 for Operations.

The company-wide SOX project materially stopped, but the team will finish the SOX work outlined in FY22 and will continue the practices. To that end, the primary open item is to implement a solution to automate SAP User Access Reviews and Segregation of Duties conflict scans.

For FY23, the BA team will be focused on three themes to help Commercial and its use of CDx Salesforce: improving account data quality, improving pricing functionality, and improving Salesforce ease-of-use.
